About Me
For the last 10 years, all my dogs came to me as stray, feral, unsocialized, and often aggressive souls. All needed to learn basic obedience. All exhibited behavioral challenges (i.e. frustrating impulse control, puppy behaviors, serious resource guarding, extreme reactivity to storms and fireworks, and aggression towards dogs and/or people).
I designed thoughtful personalized systematic pain-free training plans. I successfully modified or found ways to manage any unwanted behavior. With less stress and positive communication methods, we became a happy, healthy, harmonious family. My Qualifications: In addition to a life-time of experience training my own pets (dogs, cats, birds, and a ferret), I am currently enrolled in a rigorous Canine Behavioral Science and Technology program with a specialty in Aggression. I have over 20 years experience in the behavior science field and psychotherapist and as a coach helping humans modify their behaviors and shape positive healthy lifestyles. I use the same approach when training dogs and helping families understand each other better.
As a Supporting Member, I have access to additional professional support through the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants (IAABC) forums, member support groups, and resources. Currently, I am working towards earning a Certification as an Animal Behavior Consultant by building my pet owner coaching/training practice.
